Potholes
May 26th 2009 Potholes... depressions in the ground filled with water. In this case I'm referring to the Potholes Lakes of central Washington. When O'Sullivan Dam was built, Potholes Reservoir was created behind the dam and many small potholes "lakes" were created when the water table rose. The dam is 3.5 miles long - the longest earthen dam in the United States. The reservoir is huge (23,000 surface acres)
