Having enjoyed the cooler temperatures of mountainous eastern Kerala we decided to travel to even higher elevations in Kodaikanal, just over the border in Tamil Nadu. At first we were unable to figure out just why Kodaikanal reminded us so much of Katoomba and the Blue Mountains - was it the cool crisp mountain air? Perhap.
