Tulips don't have much of a scent on their own, but given the acres of them combined every time the wind blew you could pick up a hint of sweetness.

Did you ever watch the Wizard of Oz and in that scene where Dorothy et al are running through the endless red poppy fields trying to reach the Emerald City think "I wish I could do that!" Same here! Great photo of the roses, err, tulips
I actually came by your website because of the great picture at the top, mainly because I have been trying to take some photos my child smelling roses (http://www.dailyvowelmovements.blogspot.com/2011/12/stop-and-smell-roses.html). Anyway, great photo.
