An artist at a craft fair turned us on to Myakka River State Park. How could we have missed this gem on previous visits to Sarasota? It's Florida's largest state park and it abounds with wild life. We are a couple, now in our early 70's, traveling in a 34" Holiday Vacationer Motor Home. Wes is a GE pensioner who just ended a 50 + year career, most recently consulting with the company.
