As I mentioned, I was heading onto Lake Atitlan, which Aldous Huxley famously described as the most beautiful lake in the world. A lot has happened since my trip to Ecuador last year. I'm now based in North Carolina, engaged to my wonderful man, Al, and now I'm off to Sri Lanka for a month or so to work with tsunami survivors.
