Hello everyone, I've been in Sun Valley about 3 weeks now and it has been wonderful.This is a great resort.Although there has not been an awful lot of natural snow,the conditions have been great.They have made plenty of snow on the trails and groomed it beautifully.The off piste skiing could be better,but I can live quite happily without it.What has been a delightful change from back East(es ... read more

open road

Open Road

I have just started on a new adventure,traveling the open road in an old(1984,23foot) Winnebago motorhome.I found it for sale on the side of the road in Maine last summer.It only had 37,000 miles on it.I bought it for a song and completely re-habilitated it(new carpet,upholstery,satellite TV,mechanical upgrade,etc)I am currently in Florida,plan to head west to see friends in Alabama and Texas,then head north to Sun Valley, Idaho for a couple of months of skiing.After that,I plan to take the RV to Bend,Oregon to leave it with my brother until next summer,when I plan to return and head to Alaska... full info
