South America has always held a fascination for me since a very young age. The story of the rise and destruction of the Inca Empire, filled with its insatiable lust for riches and power, has stayed with me to this day.
I've travelled quite extensively, but this has to be my most eagerly anticipated trip. This is the fulfilment of a childhood dream. With those expectations in mind, will the real South America live up to the one held in my imagination...
