Mamallapuram January 7th 2009 Mamallapuram was next on our list as it is famous for its ancient rock carvings. The world Heritage site has a solid days worth of carvings to explore, most of which were completed in the 7th and 8th Century. Cool little town. As most of you know we hit the road for 10 months of travel on september 15, 2008 shamelessly stealing Gord & Jamie's Wasaga Beach wedding as a send off! We will start in South-East Asia, moving to India, Middle East, then the Himalayas of Nepal, and then some beach time in Thailand and the Philippines! That is the rough plan that will no doubt change a few times. Nothing but time and travel.
