Waipoua The day after our walk around Trounson, it rained and rained, but we put on our rain macs and walked around Waipoua forest where the real monster kauris grow. We saw the largest kauri, Tane Mahuta, and the second largest, Matua Nghare. They were breath-taking and so majestic.
