Port Macqurie and Coffs Harbour January 4th 2009 Woo to small towns! Away from the city we are in a small town called Port Macquarie. We were worried all the hostels would be fully booked, but getting off the bus, we were approached by a man who asked if we needed a hostel. So we got a room really easily. The thing I love most about travelling is that it forces you to live in the moment. You never really think more than a few days ahead, if that. It's about what you're doing now. How do we get there? Where does that go? I wonder what that's like. And it gives you an incredible feeling of freedom. At home, we bog ourselves down with worries and plans that keep us focused on what will happen in the future. But when travelling, all that stuff doesn't matter. You deal with it when it happens.
