Kelabit rice

This variety is purple. Rice is frequently mashed up and rapped in these leaves here and kept in neat little snack size bundles to be eaten when needed.

I loved this place sooooo much! I saw and did so many things that it's very hard to know where to start so it's quite likely that this will be a very disjointed blog.
