It looked like this for days. We had to start biking (or at least we tried to) at 7am, so we could be done by noon or 1pm, before the sun got too hot. On days we were slow getting up, I suffered in the afternoon heat, barely able to pedal 12km/hr...always looking for trees to rest under...but hardly any along the roadside.
