Smug Statue at foot of Temple, Bhaktapur

I hate Bhaktapur. Where is the 'h' supposed to go? Does anyone actually know? Is it Bhaktapur, Bakhtapur, Baktaphur or some other combination? It's driving me mad. In Nepal they have too many 'h's.
