OMG... I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FRUIT IN US... BUT NO LUCK....i USED TO EAT THIS FRUIT IN SCHOOL IN dAR ES SALAAM.... USED TO LOVE IT... EVEN DURING CLASS TIME... HID IT IN THE DESK.... AND TAKE ONE SEED AT A TIME AND SUCKED ITS SWEET N SOUR JUICE WITH CHILI AND SALT AND AT THE END I USED TO PEEL THE INNER LINING OF THE FRUIT AND CHEW THAT AND OMG..... I CANNOT TELL U HOW MUCH I LOVED IT... AND MISSING IT FOR YEARS NOW.... NEVER BEEN BACK AND ITS BEEN 35 YEARS NOW.....MHMHMH!!!!! I would love to get hold of some seeds and maybe plant it.....

WELL, that is called Madda. It also an west African fruit that is very good. You might of called it sour which it is but that's not the right way how to eat it. Your suppose to put a lot of sugar and spittle salt. Its an excellent fruit. I had it many times in Africa!!.
