The first Stonehenge was a large earthwork or Henge, comprising a ditch and a bank. It was probably built as early as 3,000 BC.

The panoramic photo shows Avebury henge Stonehenge I think there is not much I need to say about famous Stonehenge. It is one of the worlds and certainly UK's most famous prehistoric site.
