This is a warning to anyone planning to do the same as us, staying in Rockhampton a couple of nights to break up the journey from Hervey Bay to Airlee beach - DONT. Luckily we only ended up staying 1 night, there is nothing to do here and it is a hillbilly town. The people are weird and its like stepping back in a time machine.
