The city developed up around its castle, and so boasted the world's first 'skyscrapers' at 14 stories. The top floors were made of wood and were connected by ladders on the top floors.

Visited Scotland for the weekend and stayed in Edinburgh, the capitol of the Scottish lowlands the first night.
