California Condor, soaring back into existence. Since bordering on extinction in the 1990s, the condors have been very successfully bred and reintroduced in California and other parts of the west coast, living in the sides of cliffs.

So, we are getting a little bit behind. No National Parks tour is complete without a visit to the Grand Canyon. We visited on Aug. 13 and 14.
