Ex-USS Thornback (SS-418)

Launched in July 1944, she served until we sold her to the Turks in 1971. They decomissioned her in 2000 and she's now a part of the Rahmi Koc Musuem. Our personal tour guide was a former petty officer from the sub. He was a very nice guy who spoke English quite well.
