After spending 5 1/2 weeks in a van we had some rest bite, and booked into quite a nice hotel. As we booked 2 days before we pretty much got the place at hostel prices which was a relief!! As soon as we flew into Brisbane, and more so when we landed at Cairns, we were so relieved to be in the warmth again.
