$20 for a 10 minute flight over the Abel Tasman Park? Count me in! What the advert didn't mention was that the pilot looked like he might drop dead at any minute or that he liked telling his passengers how difficult landing this particular antique plane was. With Vik too scared to get onboard it was left to me and three young ladies (one of whom was Kelly McGillis) from a local hostel to make up the passenger list. Sat in the co-pilot position with my knees at my chin desperately trying not to press the big red button with my knee and wondering what the shoe laces fixed under the "dashboard" were holding together I was thankful that it was just 10 minutes.
