I arrived in Darjeeling yesterday after a hectic night at the train station in Kolkata, my train didn't leave until 11:40 but I got there at 10 to avoid higher taxi fees late at night. It wasn't bad sleeping on the overnight train. Then I took a cycle rickshaw into Siliguri from the train station to get a shared jeep for a very bumpy but beautiul 4 hour ride up to Darjeeling.
