The first day, the flat bit!

Sunday 16th Not a good start for the Inca Trail. Have been ill nearly all night - crosses mind to drop out, but the Trail was the highlight of this trip, so rest whilst others visit Incan ruins, and then the bus is off. In December 2006 I left my job as 'Interdisciplinary Research Officer' at the University of Manchester.
