Templo Mayor Ruins

The reason there is so much maintenance required to stabilize the Cathedral, (background) is that it was built almost on top of the Templo Mayor ruins

Mexico City was not high on my list of cities to spend a lot of time touring, but it should have been. There are so many museums to explore, and as I've never been a huge fan of the museums I didn´t have a clue where to begin.
