divine mother durga devi in kunjapuri
had a bit of a struggle going up those endless steps to the top after having gone through an operative procedure on my heart a few months earlier. but what a joy to have reached the top in the blessed presence of the divine mother .i couldnt help but shed tears of happiness unashamedly. Her divine presence was so strong and I could feel it that it sent to another blissful level. I drank in the divine current so deeply that I can still feel it even now. I sat and meditated on Her on one of the benches at the end of which I went into the inner sanctum once again to see my beloved Mother again. This being my first trip Rishikesh I made a vow to return to this holy site again and if possible to spend a night or two if permitted by those two wonderful priestesses in charge .To those who are going to Haridwar and Rishikesh purely on a pilgrimage I recommend making this temple a must on your iteriniary. you will not regret it if you are in the right frame of mind.
