Braid Time before I left Thailand January 18th 2008 Just a very quick blog entry to show a few photos of the result of doing what I had said I wanted to do for years - have my hair braided. Decided that with the ratio of hair braiders on Ko San Road in Bankok nearly equal to the number of tourists that is was an opportunity not to be missed!

Hi, welcome to be my Travelblog capturing my experiences as I head of for pastures new - well jungles, mountains and deserts to be precise! I have decided it is time to live that dream I have had for many years and so finally took the plunge; left my job, rented out my house and heading off to Borneo to spend 2 months helping rescued Orang-utans at Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre. After this amazing experience I will see some more of Malaysia before heading on to Nepal and India. I don't know what the journey holds but here is where you will find out.
