Winter in Ottawa

Well winter is here and it's here to stay! I always thought -4 degrees in Donegal during the winter was cold but it's so much colder here that -4degrees is the indoor temperature! Over the past two weeks we have had a low of -23degrees with certain days seeing no warmer than -10degrees. Well I’m off to travel the world...well Canada for now anyways. The plan is to spend the next 7months in a country which can fit 254 Ireland's into it and is even colder than Donegal! (Thanks Google for that one). I will be meeting up with my mates Colm and Meagan in Ottawa, the city I will be using as my base from the 25th September. The plan is to visit Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver along with a national park, great lake and niagra fall or two.
