Rain in the Desert! November 5th 2007 Rain!!!!
Ok, I know those in North America and especially in Europe cannot appreciate it. They get rain all the time. But live for 5 months in Alice Springs, or for a year in Australia, and you will start to appreciate any drop of rain. Especially in the outback.
So yes, it rained in the outback. Not only a bit of a sprinkle, but absolute downpours. Numerous downpours. And it flooded.

After finishing a degree and a diploma, I still had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up. All I knew was that I wanted to crumple up the "before-30 checklist" that one is expected to complete.
