After 5 days of fabulous carnival chaos and musical thunder of Salvador we were glad to make our way to the peaceful island retreat of Morro do Sao Paolo, off the Bahia coast of Brazil. This is the joint blog of Roddy B and the Helsters. Our paths collided at the beginning of 2006 and we soon discovered a shared desire to explore this fab planet of ours. Soon afterwards we started to lay down our plans for a 3 month blitz across the southern hemisphere through South America, touching on Thailand, Australia and New Zealand on the way through.
