Cutesy Quiet Villages... Overrun by Japanese Tourists

On Saturday I went with some friends to two cutesy little English villages - Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water. Rick Steves in his guidebook notes of Bourton-on-the-Water, "I can't figure out whether they call this "the Venice of the Cotswolds" because of its quaint canals or its miserable crowds."
