National Park, Anyone?

This is a huge map of Costa Rica found at INBIOparque, and the blue rectangles indicate the location of a national park. As you can see, there a ton of national parks in Costa Rica now, though there were none before a Costa Rican student did his Master's thesis on the National Park System in the U.S. at a school in Tennessee. This document formed the basis of the Park system in Costa Rica, now famous for preserving and cataloguing its biodiversity.
