Whitby, on the North Yorkshire coast, is a stunningly beautiful town even before you get off the train. Red-tiled roofs climb up the two main cliffs that face each other across a small fishing harbor. We arrived after a long train ride to fresh sea breezes and white fluffy clouds against a blue sky.
