Not the best photo on the planet, but it seemed rude to omit such a populous mammal. It's estimated that there is at least one hippo every 10m on the Shire River.

I’m in love…. again. Yes, I know I’m prone to this affliction, at least as regards the places I visit, but it was love at first sight with Malawi.
