We flew to El Calafate from Buenos Aires which took about 3 hours. As soon as we walked outside the airport the view of the lake nearby was beautiful. We went to see the Perito Moreno glacier the following day and it was great. We could get so close to it. The sound of the ice falling from the glacier into the lake was so loud.
