The Stone Henge

This ancient circle might be chosen as one of the new seven wonders of the world, that depends on you guys and girls if you voted it out. It seems that it took the people 1000 years to build and rearrange. What we can see now is what remains from this: , calendar, religious ceremony place,(too many theories about its purpose, but the latter might be more plausible given the altar in the centre of the building) built between circa 3000BC and 1600BC. And yes, shame on me, lived in England and didn't actually visit it... oops
