There is no train system in Iceland but there used to be a single line system in the early part of last century used to haul stone from quarry to harbour

On the harbour front
Hi It's in Reykjavik, near to the harbour, next to the stretch of dual carriageway. Are you aware also that there is a stretch of original, but relocated, rail track on Austurstraeti (North side) outside the Landsbankin? Regards Paul Wadsworth
