Today we head home. First stop this morning is the Murtoa Stick Shed. We read that until the outbreak of World War 2 Australia typically exported around sixty percent of its wheat to Great Britain and Western Europe. Murtoa Stick Shed
"265 metres long, 60 metres wide, and nearly twenty metres high at its highest point." That is truly massive. Blows me away the massive numbers of gems in our island continent that folks like me have never heard of but when discovered cannot hide the awe. Gotta see this one for myself one day!

Thanks for this. It is indeed staggering what you can find in your own backyard. We'd never heard of this place until someone told us about it earlier this year, and here it is, half a day's drive down the road.
