Tanu, spirit of Hain

The native people of Tierra del Fuego, the Selk'nam, had a very famous cultural rite of passage for young men. They were taken away from the community for two to three months for "Hain" when they were taught to hunt and become adults. This statue is at the museum in Porvenir.
