Heute besuchten wir Calpe, eine Stadt mit etwa 30‘000 Einwohnern, wobei in der Hauptsaison sich die Einwohnerzahl um ein vielfaches erhöht. Als wir uns der Stadt näherten, begrüsste uns aus der Ferne der 332 Meter hohe, steil aufragende Felsen, der „Peñón de Ifach“. Der Peñón de Ifach gilt als „das Symbol der Costa Blanca“.
