Die Altstadt von Javea liegt ca. zwei Kilometer vom Meer entfernt. Auf einem grossen Platz findet jeden Donnerstag von 08:00 - 14:00 Uhr ein Wochenmarkt statt. Ein Teil des Marktes ist den Gemüsen und Früchten vorbehalten. Im grösseren Teil findet man Kleidung, Lederwaren, Haushaltsartikeln und alles Sonstige.
