July 22 Reading Tried to find a way to Tesco, but failed! So set off through Blake's Lock back to the Thames...the licence system is daft, because you can't buy a certain number of days per year to allow cruising on and off the river. The section downstream from Reading is unspectacular, but starts to improve at Sonning. Pretty towards Henley, with lots of interesting bankside houses. ... read more
