May 28 We awoke this morning to sunshine and a welcome relief from yesterday’s bad weather. The snow on the bikes on the back of the trailer was gone. David took Red over to the dog park and I followed shortly after with Dottie. For us traveling was something we always planned on doing in our retirement. Thankfully retirement came in April 2014. It took us a while to settle into our retirement home in Arizona. Last year we started a blog for family and friends as a way to take them along on our 5 month trip to Alaska. It turned out we enjoyed the blog as much or more than our followers because it was a reminder of our trip and all the wonderful daily adventures that faded over time.
