Oh it was so cold and wet this morning. We were so grateful for our little electric fireplace heater. Oh yes I could have turned on the furnace but you know we never have because the electric fireplace works great. For us traveling was something we always planned on doing in our retirement. Thankfully retirement came in April 2014. It took us a while to settle into our retirement home in Arizona. Last year we started a blog for family and friends as a way to take them along on our 5 month trip to Alaska. It turned out we enjoyed the blog as much or more than our followers because it was a reminder of our trip and all the wonderful daily adventures that faded over time.
