May 10th 2019 Some of the early history of Western Australia is symbolized by the Murchison House Station which sits about 15 kilometres from Kalbarri. It was founded in 1848 and we can only picture how difficult life would have been in those days. There were no cars or paved roads and some 600 kilometres from the tiny settlement of Perth, it was remote. Of course today it is very accessible.
