New to us

On the left a little gizmo found in several restaurants. It connects to the waiter's smartphone and will get his attention or the cuenta (bill) without flagging him/her down. On the right, advertising on the sidewalk...presumably to get the attention of those with their heads down engrossed in their phones, or on the lookout for dog poop.

In hindsight we could have spent less time here and found another place in Peru for a week or so. We found Lima too big, busy and crowded for our liking, particularly after the charm of Cuenca. Traffic in and around Lima is brutal so we avoided taxis and Uber and walked, 75km last week.
