A tunnel through the largest pyramid in the world, a tunnel right into the earth and a recently rediscovered tunnel Just over two hour by bus from Mexico City is the city Puebla. Did the Spanish know about the pyramid?
It is a bit funny that the Spaniards decided to build a church on top of Cholula. Did they know that it was a pyramid or not? Some say they did and soome say they didn't? If the latter is true I won't hold it against them because even when you know what is underneith the soil it is difficult to see that there is a pyramid hidden there. /Ake
