Absolutely vast radar antenna, 160 m high, 770 m long, containing 14,000 tonnes of metal. It was part of a Cold War early warning system to detect incoming Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. However, according to Russian maps, and according to the roadsign at the turn off, the only thing here was a children's summer camp.
