Owl Butterfly Caterpillar

Just like the close up of the butterfly eyes, we don't get to see their caterpillars often enough. This is the most amazing one I've ever seen and it constantly shook it's head back and forth as it crawled up my arm.

Caterpillars
The beauty and variety of little things in Nature also makes me shake my head in wonderment. I have been spending recent months macroing mini-beasts in my Aussie backyard (I live on the edge of a National Park) and discovering incredible critters that constantly make me shake my head in disbelief. This Owl Butterfly caterpillar is a gem indeed.
