Saturday January 30th, 2016. Cruising the South Atlantic Ocean.

After a posh breakfast M went to craft and made a "Handbag" Card. We gave the lecture on wildlife a miss so we could get a seat in the Captain's Lounge. The temperature has dropped considerably now and everyone, apart from the hardened bird and wildlife watchers (who are all dressed like Scott of the Antarctic), is inside. Stewart joined us at 12 pm for some more computer lessons. After lunch D went to Jim's lecture on "Sailing on the Northern Coast of Spain: Part 2" while M caught up on some more blogs and sorted out and labelled the photos from the previous stop. At 14:45 we got a space in the show lounge for Clive's 15.30 lecture on "Chile; to Hell and Back" which was fantastic as usual. However there was nearly yet another riot as, just before his lecture started, our esteemed Cruise Director and his crew decided to hang Union Jack flags over the screen in preparation for the remembrance service later. This did not go down too well with folk that had reserved their seats for nearly an hour. After protestations they gave up and hung the flags in less obtrusive places - around columns and along the stage steps.

After dinner M went to the "Best of British" cabaret.
