A few facts about the ship. It was built in 2009. It will accommodate 2,850 guests. It is 1041 feet long with a beam of 121 feet and a draft of 27 feet. It will cruise at 24 knots. There are 15 floors, 9 restaurants, a spa, a fitness center, 2 swimming pools, a library, card room, casino, hot glass studio, a theater, several lounges, several shops, and much more. Plenty to do to keep us busy while at sea.

We are ready to head out. Our first transatlantic cruise leaves Fort Lauderdale on April 12. After 11 days we disembark in Malaga, Spain and begin our travels around Europe. This is our first time there and we are anticipating with excitement all the new people, places and things we will be experiencing. Hi Jan and Jerry, We are finally getting caught up from our 3-week get-away. I had forgotten your port of disembarkation being in Spain. When we were in Prescott our friends booked a condo (time share) in the same area where you land. They invited us to join them for 2 weeks at that condo scheduled for October2015 - we're excited about the trip. We shall rent a car and do extensive touring. Be sure to take special note of the area so that you can tell us of places we must see. Happy Easter. Sheryl & Stuart
